Roman Warrior Sculpture

May 14

At each extremity of Iena Bridge (Pont d'Iena), there is a Warrior Sculpture. All different. On the left bank, stands the Arab and Greek warriors. On the right bank are the Gaulish and Roman warriors. These sculptures are 154 years old, sculptured in 1853. Photo shows the Roman warrior.

If you look closely at the photo that I posted on May 11, you can see where and how the sculptures are placed. That is the left bank.

Why would one go to the battle field in nude but still bother to place a piece of cloth on the "most sensitive" area?

Maybe he is shy, hahaha. There are many nude nude statues, not covered, in Paris.
